This hotel was very quiet! Even though itÂ¿s on a busy 4-lane road, we heard nothing in our room. Breakfast offerings were quite numerous, something for everyone, and the eggs and bacon also offered were fresh and good tasting!

We have been staying at Hampton Inn Oakland-Hayward consistently for 6 years whenever we visit our daughter and family in the area...at least twice a year. This has been a quality experience with every stay: clean, comfortable rooms, very satisfying breakfast, and tremendous staff. This is a welcoming destination. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else for our family visits.

Only thing is IÂ¿m a smoker and the smoking section is out front. I was approached a few times for a cigarette by strangers. Felt a little sketchy to be so close to the road in that area, especially at night. They need a barrier blocking from the road.

An employee told us there’s new management here and it shows! The front desk clerk was horrible saying my card was declined but it was their system that was down. No resolution offered after I complained. Won’t stay here again!

Nice and clean. We were greeted with a welcome and some bottles of water. Ice bens & vending machines are close to the rooms. Laundry room for guests. Free breakfast (yummy).

Our room and the hotel in general was really nice and clean. The staff was super friendly as well. The check in and check out process was easy and not stressful. I would definitely book this hotel again.
